2011 Cornerstone Award

On 3-24-2011 UMCH was presented with
the Cornerstone Award by
LINC Community Revitalization, Inc.
at its Community Spirit Award banquet. The Community Spirit
Award recognizes individuals and organizations for
contributions to their communities throughout Kent County .
The Cornerstone Award is given to an organization that
models capacity building and demonstrates impact in a
specific area.
Dr. Nkechy Ezeh accepted the award on our behalf.

Raymond Tardy Community Service
The 108-year-old nonprofit Southeast Grand
Rapids organization offers programs for children, adults, families and senior
citizens, most of whom fall below the poverty level, in education, child
care, meals, employment and health. They serve about 3,000 people a year. Anita
Christopher, Director of Community Relations and Senior Program Manager, a
