EFF Information
EFF is a FREE and voluntary program for unmarried couples in Kent County who are pregnant or have a baby 3 months or younger (or sometimes up to 2 years old if space is available)!
Dads & Moms can participate in one of three different EFF programs, a 3 week group, 3 week series, or Saturday "Day Away".
These classes cover the folowing topics,
- Staying Healthy (Child Well-being)
- Shaken Baby (Child well-being)
- Financial Management (Child well-being)
- Family Planning (Healthy Marriage)
- Communications(Healthy Marriage, Healthy Relationships)
- Childcare (Child Well-being)
- Positve Parenting (Child Well-being)
- Protecting Your Baby's Future - DHS (Child Well-being)
- Conflict Resolution - DRC (Child Well-being)
- Employment Skills (Healthy Marriage)
All sessions are FREE and VOLUNTARY and include:
- Free child care
- Free transportation
- Free meal
- Meijer gift cards and additional incentives for program participation
