GRANDPARENTS SUPPORT GROUP
The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Educational Support Group is a joint partnership of the Grand Rapids Community College Older Learner Center, Learning Corner @ Wealthy, and United Methodist Community House with funding from the Older American's Act Title IIIE administered by the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan.
This educational program, offered without charge, is open to any grandparent, regardless of age, involved in helping to raise his/her grandchildren. Through this program, Grandparents will be given the opportunity to share common experiences, better understand their own needs and the needs of their grandchildren, locate resources, and gain valuable information from community professionals.
This program is offered on the 2nd Monday of each month from 9:00 - 11:00AM at United Methodist Community House.
